Riviera Maya is a stretch of beach front towns south of the Cancun International Airport. Some of the towns located in the Riviera Maya include, Paraiso Beach, Puerto Morelos, Playa del Carmen, PlayaCar, Paamul, Puerto Aventuras, Kantenah, Akumal, Xcacel, Xel-Ha, and Tulum. Each town along the RIVIERA MAYA has its own charm and scenery. Playa del Carmen is the largest of all the towns and the "point of reference" for the rest of the RIVIERA MAYA.

Getting to the Riviera Maya is very easy. The Cancun International Airport is the only airport in the area and it is served by all major International Airlines with direct or non-stop service from anywhere around the world. From the airport, transportation services such as www.cancunshuttle.com, www.cancunsharedshuttle.com and www.cancun-taxi.com provide convenient and safe airport transfers to any location in the Riviera Maya. For the adventurous, driving is a viable option. Also, there are buses available from downtown Cancun with regular service to Puerto Morelos and Playa del Carmen. From the Cancun International Airport there are buses that go to Playa del Carmen several times a day.
